Philippe Demoulin Belge, b. 1946
A native of Liège, Philippe Demoulin (b. 1946) studied at renowned arts institutions including the École Boulle in Paris. In the 1970s, he relocated to Marrakech, where his work expanded into decorative marouflage, painted panels, and mural artworks.
His style fuses European technique with Moroccan ambiance: geometric patterns, rich warm tones, and luminous accents characterize his pieces. Deeply connected to Moroccan craftsmanship, he often creates one-off decorative items and collaborates on furniture projects.
Now based in Marrakech, Demoulin continues to create and exhibit within private circles. His career reflects a harmonious blend of Belgian artistic tradition and North African inspiration.
